I have know Ann for over two years now and can't say enough good things about her and her business! She is the sweetest thing and goes above and beyond to serve you. We bought many things through her while in China adopting our first daughter and now going through her again to send a package to our newest daughter. Our daughter who is still in China is older, so the typical care package just didn't seem to suit her. Ann shopped just for a 7 year old in mind. Ann was able to get our son's current measurements, and she picked out the cutest clothes for him. She sent the package "rush delivery" and our boy received it just a few days before we arrived. We were very fortunate to meet Ann while in China and I felt as if we were old friends. Our son enjoyed meeting Ann too. I only wish we had more time to spend with eachother. Both of these ladies are exceptional and go above and beyond to help families connect with their children in China. We are in the process of adopting our second child and will definately use Redthreadchina again.



Ann and I were introduced via email by a mutual friend. I cannot say enough about what a wonderful help she has been to us! We are adopting a daughter from China and wanted to send her a care package. Not only did Ann personally shop to make a unique care package for her, containing everything I asked about, she even threw in a few extras! She contacted the Director of the orphanage before sending the package, and was lucky enough to be able to speak to our daughter's nanny too, getting invaluable information that will enable us to pack better for her. She emailed photos of our care package contents to us, and will even confirm delivery! Ann also translated a letter for us, and even printed a few photos of our family to include in the care package. She is sweet, funny, and friendly, and we cannot wait to meet her in person and go shopping!

I did not know what to expect when we met Ann and asked her to take us--a group of 6 ladies with very long lists--shopping. Ann was wonderful!! She not only took us to markets and shops that had great prices, she managed to feed us during our shopping frenzy at good ol' McDonalds! I was very impressed how Ann would climb a ladder to look in a store's stock to find a certain size for one of us. She managed to find everything on our lists from handbags to pearls to beautiful silk dresses at a fraction of the price on the island. The best part of the day with Ann was her personality. A friend recommended that I use Ann at RedThread China to send a photo album to my little girl waiting in China. From the first email, Ann's kindness and sincere interest in helping us shone through. She provided a photo album, a photo pillow, candy for the nannies, and a letter translated for us at an incredibly reasonable price. Ann worked hard to make sure everything was just right.
